Anna Hope Grover
I was born in Tampa, Florida at Tampa General Hospital, my father was a pastor, and I was one of nine brothers and sisters. Our family was committed to serving our community in Pasco County and helping those in need. For some people it was work but to me it has and always will be what I was born to do; to serve in communities to help enrich the quality of people’s lives and also the communities they live in.
During my life and love of outreach, I have been honored to work with great people such as the John Tesh,Intelligence For Your Life, Victorious Life Church, Joy-FM T-shirts for turkeys, Uncle Vinny & Kathy IK, Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Paul O'Neil, Venture Harvest Group - Tim Ebright, 102.5 Cow-head, United Way, USDA,Nanci Denamen,Lisa Weir (our volunteer teachers) plus so many more who joined in allowing us to reach thousands of people.
Building over twelve different outreaches which included the GED program, after school tutoring, Court (stand in for youth,) transportation, Government Assistance, job resources, bread distribution, food pantry, events for the community-back packs for school, Christmas outreach, Easter and outreaching the homeless camps, the team was recognized for our outstanding efforts in the community by receiving the Honorary Mayors Award.
We worked with the County Commissioners, Sheriff's office, the VA and other agencies throughout the county to make it very accessible for people to come together and get the help they needed. This was also followed by the media and was a very successful event.
We also received a challenge grant to work with Bay care and house the chronic homeless and get them the proper medical attention they needed; this was also a great success.
We continually keep moving forward in reconciling, restoring and rebuilding peoples lives throughout communities. This is done by equipping and educating them with proper resources, raising awareness to take to our local businesses and churches.
We are always on a mission to serve people, bring hope and restoration to make a difference in our community!
